DESCRIPTION:Murder, grave robbing and insanity are all part of the story of this fascinating and unique building – the Manor House or Bromwich Hall has seen it all. Built by Richard de Marnham in the 1270s, Bromwich Hall is now probably one of the most important surviving medieval timber framed buildings in the Midlands and the most recent building to become part of Sandwell Museum Service.\nThe Oak House is said to be home to at least three known spirits. In 1837, the house was said to change hands and became home for the Whyley Family. Paranormal activity at this location can be rife with many ghostly sightings and full-bodied apparitions have been witnessed in this fascinating building. Heavy footsteps have been heard coming from empty rooms and numerous reports have been made of a tall man standing dressed in period clothing with a beard just watching in the shadows.
