SUMMARY:Stanmore Country Park Ghost Walk
DESCRIPTION:👻 THE FORGOTTEN FAMILIES OF RAF BRIDGNORTH 👻\nTHE SHADOWS OF STANMORE\nAn Interactive Ghost Walk with The Wright Paranormal Events\n🌑 THE BUILDINGS MAY HAVE CHANGED… BUT THE HISTORY REMAINS.\nHidden within the peaceful surroundings of Stanmore Country Park lies the history of a once-bustling RAF training station.\nFrom 1939 until 1963, RAF Bridgnorth was home to thousands of servicemen passing through military training.\nBut beyond the parade grounds and barrack huts was another world…\n🏚️ THE FORGOTTEN MARRIED QUARTERS\nAt The Hobbins and Russell Close, RAF personnel lived alongside their wives and children.\nFor some, these weren’t temporary quarters. They were home for years.\nOne family remained in the station’s married quarters for 15 years, right through to the camp’s closure.\nImagine the conversations behind those doors, children playing outside and families waiting to discover what the future held.\n🩺 THE HOSPITAL AND THE MORTUARY\nThe original RAF camp plans reveal something many visitors may not realise.\nThe station had its own hospital, baby clinic, ambulance facilities and mortuary.\nThese were places where real people experienced illness, uncertainty, recovery and loss.\n👣 THE ECHOES OF THE PARADE GROUNDS\nThousands of young recruits marched across Stanmore during their eight weeks of basic training.\nLong days. Freezing mornings. The commands of drill instructors ringing across the camp.\nToday, much of that landscape has disappeared beneath trees and grass.\nBut the old concrete roads remain.\nIf those roads could speak, what stories would they tell?\n🌲 DARE YOU WALK THROUGH THE HISTORY AFTER DARK?\nJoin The Wright Paranormal Events as we explore the former RAF Bridgnorth site and uncover its extraordinary past.\nDiscover the true stories of the servicemen and families who lived here, the forgotten military buildings and the history that still lies beneath the modern country park.\n🔦 Take part in atmospheric paranormal vigils.\n👻 Experience the location after darkness falls.\n📖 Discover genuine history and investigate the unexplained for yourself.\nTHE RAF LEFT IN 1963. BUT HAS EVERY TRACE OF ITS PAST REALLY DISAPPEARED?\nHealth & Safety ‼️\nThis particular ghost walk is wheelchair friendly. Please be mindful, we are walking in the dark late at night through a public walk way. Bring your torches and wear suitable clothing and footwear.\nThis event is 16+ and will go ahead in all weather conditions apart from extreme weather warnings or immediate threat.\nPlease note: tickets are NON refundable or transferable once purchased.\nStrictly NO alcohol or drugs to be consumed on the property\nInteractive Ghost Walks — Where History Meets the Unknown\n
