Graisley Old Hall (House That Cries)

Graisley Old Hall, also known as “The House that Cries,” is a historic and notoriously haunted building located in Wolverhampton, West Midlands. 

It earned its unsettling nickname due to mysterious pools of water that appear inside the house without any logical explanation. Despite investigations by numerous experts over the years, no definitive cause has ever been found.

This strange phenomenon is just one of many paranormal occurrences reported at the Old Hall. Multiple owners have experienced unexplained activity, and guests during past events have encountered truly terrifying moments. Witnesses have reported full-bodied apparitions, disembodied voices, and doors slamming shut on their own.

Some of the most unsettling accounts involve the sounds of children running through the hallways, often said to play with teddy bears in the bedrooms—despite no children being present.

And if you’re brave enough to explore further, be warned: the basement is not for the faint-hearted.
