Ghost walk round Saltwells nature reserve to start at 9.30pm. Vigils within the pub to start at 10.30pm. 

The Saltwells Inn, originally known as Lady Wood Saline Spa, has a rich history dating back to the 17th century. It gained popularity as a spa and tavern, attracting visitors seeking the medicinal benefits of its waters. Over the centuries, it changed hands and underwent transformations, eventually becoming a popular local pub.

Today, the Saltwells Inn and Nature Reserve offer a unique blend of history and natural beauty. The reserve, encompassing Saltwells Wood and parts of Netherton Hill, showcases the area’s industrial past, including coal mining and clay extraction. Despite its industrial history, the reserve has been restored and now provides a peaceful retreat for visitors to enjoy the local wildlife and scenic views.

After speaking with the owners and staff within the Inn, a lot of unexplained activity has occurred. The tense and strange atmosphere later in the evening. Staff often having feelings of being followed. Unexplained bangs and shadow figures been seen. Staff have witnessed glasses being pushed from shelves and off the bar itself.
